Popsicle Toes

Yup, I have 'em. But everything else is as warm as hot apple pie (it might have something to do w/the peri-menopausal thing going on w/me.)

of course we're not talking about me . . . my 46 year old friend . . .

first of all...it's P-O-L-L
... not P-O-L-E.
(funny thing...I was telling caryl how you spelled it and he goes "a POLE is something you climb up in a club." so then I thought well - maybe then it IS spelled correctly)
:0

second of all...30 is NOT too young! I agree - Go for it!
ps...I didn't know you were even considering adoption!
That's soooo sweet!

Demi & Ashton - it won't last. "Fi-ya (fire)...doo, doo, doo," Someone's gonna get burned. Probably not your friend, this time around...

KT - you said it better than I... LOL

Tia, I am of course very sympathetic to your plight (ie: quest for a man worthy of our superior intellect and stunning beauty) both of us being what we are and such: Very single, and very sick of its existance.
So, when I put this into perspective for you... try to keep all that in mind.

I'm thinking about going on a date with a 4 year old... He was born not one, but two decades after me.
Clearly he'll understand who I am and what I've gone through in my lifetime. PERFECT.

My question is:
Is 21 too young for a 33 year old?
haha

Just Kidding.

I don't think age matters so much as personality..maturity (which isn't determined by age).

I'd tell the friend to go for it.

Geeezzz 30 is not too young. "Age is a matter of mind. If you don't mind it don't matter!!!" (Is that how that saying goes???) I live by that. Of course this is coming from someone who married a man 8 years younger (okay it didn't work - but the sex was great). I have also dated men that were 13 to 15 years younger. Okay - those relationships did not work either - but "it didn't matter" - and I "didn't mind" having fun for a while. So just have fun with this guy and take it day by day. cds
