You're killing me Smalls . . . .
My sister Robin always says things backwards . . . she just called to tell me that my other sister is having a baby girl (she had her ultrasound yesterday) but she said it like this . . .
robin - "well, the apple doesn't have a core..."
me - "huh???"
robin - "the apple doesn't have a core..."
me - "what are you talking about??"
robin - "teresa's having a girl..."
me - "you're such a dork, you mean the apple doesn't have a stem..."
We both laughed so hard . . . she kills me! Anyway, it's a girl!!

...and the scarecrow doesn't have a brain! :)
that's so robbie!
Haha, that's awesome... Yay for little girls!
Uh oh... Emma June's gonna be jealous!
Thank Heaven for Little Girls! Yay! Maurice Chevalier could not have said it any better...
Congrats!
Oh No! This brainless trait runs in the family. Pop/Toes doesn't mention her reference to the Lone Ranger's horse as Tonto. I had to remind her that the horse's name is Silver as in "HIYO SILVER!" I am so excited about the baby girl. Her aunties are dorky but they do dote(sp?) very well. She'll be another spoiled neice...
hrh, what's funny is i went to her graduation last night for a 9 month leadership program she took thru the city. she graduated w/distinction! she's smart, she's just goofy - gotta love her!!
normie, you're right, it's the silliest things that get me laughing the hardest. as a matter of fact, the comment below by the "dog" was one of those moments. thanks on the congrats!
brat, yay is right! junie isn't acting jealous yet, but we'll see when the baby actually is here.
thursday, thank heaven!! thanks!
dog, you're such a dog! now i know why your daughter dogs me on MY blog....and it's all about the spoiling!
I love the title of this post! I say that all the time. The Sandlot is a great movie!!
And yes, I second (third?) the yay for little girls sentiments. Girls rule, boys drool. :)
i know kc, sandlot is one of mi familia's all time favorite movie and we always quote from it! that and clueless...one of my other favs.
...as if!
...as if!
what, i totally paused.... :)
Searching for a boy in high school is as useless as searching for meaning in a Pauly Shore movie.
...and the boy can shop!
do you like billy holiday . . . i love him . . .
Clueless is a great movie! Love the scene where she's walking aimlessly and wallowing and she passes a window full of shoes and snaps out of it to wonder if they have her size. Hilarious. Also, the guy who played Josh (Paul Rudd) grew up in KC, graduated from KU, and if you'll notice, in one scene is wearing a KU bball cap. Rock Chalk Jayhawk, baby!
best regards, nice info »
